Edwardian Kitchen and Ceiling
We were asked to design a kitchen to compliment the style of this Edwardian house. Given the high ceilings of this property we designed and made a traditional coffered ceiling to hide all services above but to retain the look of the original building.
Traditional in-frame doors and cabinets with oak dentil cornice along with a featured chimney with oak columns that matched the stone to the entrance of the home. A full walk in larder behind matching door and drawer fronts, double breakfast areas either end of the island along with a traditional larder for breakfast preparation. Worktops are LG Hi-Macs Ice queen with a touch of glitter to give a sparkle effect, traditional Belfast sink with instant hot water tap. A purpose made grey antique silver mirror fitted behind the hob, with storage cupboards within the chimney structure. Luminated top cupboards ready for crystal glasses to be displayed.
